Elizabeth Mueller Gross

Vice President, Pew Research Center

Elizabeth Mueller Gross is responsible for overseeing the administrative and other support for the Pew Research Center and its projects, including human resources, information technology, finance and accounting, facilities, communications and liaison with legal counsel. She also serves as secretary and treasurer for the center's governing board. She joined the Pew Research Center in 2001 to help launch its Pew Global Attitudes Project, a series of worldwide public opinion polls, and continues to be involved in that project. From 1984 to 2001, she worked at U.S. News & World Report magazine, primarily as director of research, and was responsible for the newsweekly's public opinion polling and other survey-based projects, including "America's Best Hospitals." Prior to joining U.S.News, Ms. Gross served on the editorial staff of the China Business Review magazine. She is a graduate of Kenyon College.
