49% - GOPers Doubt Global Warming

The proportion of Americans who say that the earth is getting warmer has decreased modestly since January 2007, mostly the result of rising Republican doubt. Overall, 71% of Americans say there is solid evidence of higher global temperatures, but just 49% of Republicans now agree, down 13 points since January 2007. Conservative Republicans are far more likely to express doubt (43%) than are moderate or liberal Republicans (69%). Read more
