66% - Boomers See Times as Tougher Now Than in the Past

Baby boomers,members of the large generation born from 1946 to 1964, are pessimistic not only about their own finances, but also about everyone else's; they are more likely than younger or older Americans to believe that it is harder for people to get ahead now than a decade ago (66% says so) as well as harder to make progress, and easier to lose ground, than it was in the past. Among younger adults, 55% say it is harder to get ahead. Among older adults, 58% say so. Read more
