The Rise of In-Store Mobile Commerce

Just over half of adult cell owners used their phone while they were in stores during the 2011 holiday shopping season. These shoppers called a friend while they were in a store for advice about a purchase they were considering making, to look up online reviews of a product or to check the price of a product to see if they could do better elsewhere.
